June Jewels....

Treasures by the SEA just a preview of what is in store for the next Barn Sale..."Romance by the SEA" Vintage Style....My look for my Necklaces, Rustic Chains with tattered Rhinestone Jewels.....Last week my Sis... Warm Pie Happy Home and Cat..The Vintage Housewife.blogspot.com and I traveled less then an hour away to the O.C. Circle......to Flea....Not much to show you on what I found..but we stopped by Cynthia's Fabulous Store Heavenly Hostess...APRONS GALORE!!!!Sassy and Sophisticated....

Here is the Boutique...The owner Cynthia was so very Gracious and such the Hostess...and the gals that work there were also so sweet...She has her shop and she also sells wholesale to boutiques everywhere....

Thank-you Cynthia for making our DAY!!!!

My Studio and What Inspires Me!

      Lately I have been seeing some Fabulous studios and Work Spaces

which hopefully  most of us have..To Create..To Be Inspired... to be taken away for a moment or two and have fun with ART!!!! This is my space..Studio/Living Room... where I can still be available for the Family.Always keep in mind... to create an atmosphere where you feel surrounded with the things you love.....To me...Soft colors.. Anything Vintage...rhinestones, rusty hardware,old chippy frames and architectural pieces... Uplifting Music, Sweet smell of candles lit.

These Vintage photos are of my Mom.....They are my inspiration for my VINTAGE COLLECTION of my Tee Shirts and Vintage Jewels.....My Mom always Dressed to the "T"..My sister ..Warm Pie Happy Home and I would love to go through her closet and gaze at all her clothes and her accessories that would match with every outfit...Her drawers full of Costume Jewelry treasures of rhinestone pins, earings, necklaces...even to this day I borrow some jewels to wear...She knew had to find the best shopping deals in town..My Dad would always ask her if.. what she was wearing was new? She would say "Oh I've had this for awhile"...Yeah...she just would keep her new Bargain Piece in her trunk of the car for a week or two...He didn't have a clue....she is the one in the White Linen Dress with the with the pearls and flower.She is with the group of ladies and friends from Church doing Good Deeds........The two photos at the botton are in New York where she was born and raised til she was 17....Then moved out here to So.Calif. She is with all her ITALIAN friends wearing Prom Dresses, Fur Coats standing in front of her school.....Gabbing Away.......
